Which is the Best Safari Zone in Jim Corbett?

Being a safari lover, I always enjoy spending quality time doing various safaris. I have been more than an eight-time visitor to Jim Corbett for safari. Yes, you read that correctly: I've been to Jim Corbett Safari eight times and each time is a unique experience.

The first time I went to Jim Corbett, I visited the Jhirna zone. It is a newly constructed zone and the entry gate is nearly 20 kilometres from the city centre. You may go to the Jhirna zone if you wish to explore the forest and guess what? The city tour is completely free.

I also went to Bijrani Zone. The entry gate is approximately 3–4 kilometres from the city's centre. It's more open and less bushy, which enhances your chances of seeing a tiger and you'll also discover people living in the forest if you venture deeper into the Bijrani Zone. You'll be able to witness the beautiful sight of how they live and manage their lives. I have been to Bijrani four times and was fortunate enough to see the tiger on our fourth visit.

The third one is the Dhikala zone, which is the most powerful of all the zones as there are higher chances of tiger sightings. It's a safe harbour that takes you deeper into the jungle. Dhikala is the only zone where you can stay inside the forest and have 24-hour access to electricity and food. The resort is located deep in the forest and you'll be able to see the activities and hear the sounds of the animals inside. Dhikala is the most amazing zone for tiger sightings, as living inside the forest increases your chances of tiger sightings.

After taking into consideration about all the tree zones, for "Bijrani" zone, I would recommend the Jeep jungle safari. As you have the choice of choosing any stay package that suits your needs.

Moreover, if you have a strong desire to visit the "Dhikala" zone, I would recommend going on a "Canter Safari" rather than a "Jeep Safari." Following the government's prohibition on elephant safaris, tourists are now only offered two safari alternatives.

DhikalaBijraniJhirna, Durga Devi, Sitabani, and Dhela are all served by an open-jeep safari. While Canter Safari is exclusively available in the "Dhikala" zone. The best way to see Jim Corbett National Park is on an open-top Jeep Safari. A Jungle Safari is a magnificent experience that requires a place in an open jeep close to nature, where you can explore the beautiful flora and fauna. You'll be immersed in the wildness of Jim Corbett National Park on this exhilarating adventure.

Bengal Tigers, Asiatic Elephants, Leopards, Sloth Bears, and King Cobras are all possible sightings. If you enjoy birds, Jim Corbett is a birder's paradise as well, with over 600 species to look at.

I was very lucky that I was able to spot a few of the tigers in every zone mentioned above. Tigerwalah has been helping me throughout my whole safari for the past 8 times and they did an incredible job each time, providing me with a safe yet interesting safari. I will always recommend Tigerwalah to my friends and family for a great and safe safari experience.
